- The challenges included doubling the span of eight existing trusses, removing two existing trusses at a new mezzanine, and removing interior columns without changing the roof profile or exterior appearance of the buildings

- Seismic retrofit including new wall anchorage, shotcrete, supplemental support of discontinuous shear walls and composite “Fibrwrap” of existing non-ductile concrete columns for improved performance
